Obituary of Dorothy Mae England

The death of Dorothy Mae England of Minto, occurred Saturday, October 11th, 2014 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born April 21st, 1930, in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Agnew) Shirley. Dot is survived by her brother, Kenneth Shirley (Anne); her five sisters, Grace DeLorey, Isabel Barratt (Doug), Jessie Vienneau, Betty Piper (Allan) all of Minto and Eliza Aitken (Ron) of Fredericton as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John England; her four sisters, Kay Lunney-Thurrott, Elva Verney, Rita Agnew and Margaret (Peggy) Hunziker; her four brothers, Mansfield Shirley, Robert Shirley and two infants, Allan and Thomas. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) where the family will receive family and friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Minto Community Chapel of Hogg Funeral Services with interment to follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge.
