Obituary of Jennie Florence Marie Parsons

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jennie Florence Marie Parsons peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital November 30, 2014. Jennie was born in Chipman on December 2, 1936, one of six children born to the late Andrew and Marjorie (Glenn) Fulton. Jennie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was an avid bingo player and loved cards. She always had a joke to tell everyone. She was a member of the Orange Lodge # 1131. Survived by her loving friend Louis Fila; children, Marjorie Martin (Dave) of Fredericton, Florence Crawford (Ricky) of Chipman, Alberta Lanteigne (Rufin) of Fredericton, Marsha Fanjoy (Ken) of Minto, Brenda Parsons (Eugene Bishop) of Chipman, Albert Jr (Crystal) Parsons of British Columbia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Gesner and Agnes Hargrove of Chipman; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Albert Parsons; brothers, Robert (Ina), Charles (Inez) and Harley; granddaughter, Nina. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman) with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 from the Chipman United Church with Rev. Betty Jean Friedman officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Diabetic Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
