Obituary of Eric Gardiner Bailey

The death of Eric Gardiner Bailey of Newcastle Centre, NB occurred Friday, January 09, 2015 at his home. Born in Newcastle Centre, NB on March 6, 1945 he was the son of the late Hazen and Margaret (Sypher) Bailey. Survived by his loving wife, Aroon (Coughlin) Bailey; a son, Bruce Bailey (Jennifer); daughters, Mary- Faith Mazerolle (Todd) and Sarah Thompson (Jeremy); 6 grandchildren, Brooks, Lauren, Owen, Curtis, Diane and Jessie; a brother Carl Bailey (Alvena); a sister, Mary Keith (Delbert); special nephews, Travis Richard and Chris Mullin; special friends Cyril and Gwenda Barton and Johnny Logue; several cousins, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Eric was predeceased by his uncle Ernest Sypher. The family would like to thank the Nurses and staff of 3W, the Extra Mural Nurses, Dr. S. Morissy and Palliative Care Staff for the great care. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 3:00PM Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. For those who wish, donations made to the MEMS Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
