Obituary of Viola Kabbel

Kabbel,Viola "Vi" (Elliott,Knox) of Minto, wife of the late Earl Kabbel passed away peacefully at her home with her granddaughter and great grandsons. Born July 3, 1926 in Coles Island, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred & Annie Elliott. Survived by daughter Lynn (Bill) Kearns, son Mitchell Knox, granddaughter Tamara & grandsons Troy (Elizabeth) Kearns & Jason Knox , great grandchildren William, Ryan, John & Katie. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Alvin & Donald & sister Shirley. Vi loved spending time with her family and friends. She was the keeper of family history - what a great memory. She enjoyed playing cards and going for drives. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Minto and belonged to the Senior Citizen's Club. She was proud past member of the LOBA. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Saturday, March 14, 2015 from Trinity United Church. Interment will take place in Full Gospel Cemetery at a late date. For those who wish, donations made to the Trinity United Church or MEMS Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
