Obituary of Phyllis McAllister West

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis McAllister West announce her passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday September 2nd. Born on Aug 28, 1940 in Newcastle Bridge, the daughter of the late Alice and Phillip Vautour. Phyllis is predeceased by first husband Spurgeon (Spud) McAllister and sisters Emily and Rose. Phyllis is survived by loving husband Bill West, son Paul (Cheryl) McAllister, daughters Joanne (Alan) Bergman, Karen (Joe) Lays, Susan (Brent) Whiteway, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, step children Gary (Winnie) West, Gord (Louise) West, Carol (Dave) Miki, Nancy (Norman) Gautreau. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto), with visitation being held on Sunday, September 6th from 1:00 – 4:00. Funeral Service will take place on Monday September 07 at 2:00 from Minto Community Chapel. Reception will follow the service at the Minto Seniors Club. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Minto Seniors Hall or a charity of the donors choice.
