Obituary of Evelyn Annie Smith

The death of Evelyn Annie Smith of Minto, NB occurred Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Chipman, NB she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Eleanor (West) Dykeman Evelyn enjoyed knitting, bowling and quilting and was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12 Auxiliary, Minto Survived by children, Joseph (Darlene) of Cumberland Bay, NB, Stanley (Shirley) of Minto, Norval (Norma) of Minto, Darrel (Anne) of Minto, Allen (Flora-Lynn) of Alberta, Darlene (David) of Alberta, Kim and Faye both of Saint John, Mary of Alberta, Cameron (Alice) of Fredericton, Adriann (Adam) of Fredericton; sisters, Carmel, Laura and Pearl of Saint John Marguerite of Alberta and Pat of Cumberland Bay; a brother, Thomas (Linda) of Chipman; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Charles Smith; a son, Carl; brother, Murray; sisters, Mary Cheeseman and Violet Bishop. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Thursday, April 23, 2015 from Minto Community Chapel.
