Obituary of Helena Maude Barton

The death of Helena Maude (Mountain) Barton of Minto, NB occurred Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Linden, NS on August 18, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Terrance and Stella (Williams) Mountain. Survived by sons, Tony (Dorothy), Holly, Donald (Marie) and Robert; daughters, Stella Taylor (David), Wanda Beatty (Gene), Bonnie McAllister (Clayton), Nancy Barton (David), Ruby Hatheway (Brian) and Debra Hatheway (Wayne); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Louie, George, Terry and Steve; sister, Joyce Dykeman. In addition to her parents, Helena was predeceased by her husband, Walter Barton, a daughter, Carol; sons, David and Allen; granddaughter, Toni Marie Barton; brothers, Guy and Billy; sisters, Anna Muckler, Kathleen Barton and Olga Murray O’Neill. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto) with visiting on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 from 10 – 12AM. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 from Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place in the Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension.
