Obituary of A. Judson MacLean

The death of A. Judson MacLean of Cumberland Bay, NB occurred Saturday, February 07, 2009 at the Queen’s North Palliative Care at the age of 81. Born in Cumberland Bay, NB he was the son of the late Leonard and Eva (Kelly) MacLean. Jud was a member of the Orange Lodge Branch # 113 for 60 years and a member of the Order of Black Knights Branch # 308 for 50 years. Survived by his loving wife Doris (Barton) MacLean; sons, Alan (Judy) of Quispamsis, Bruce (Nancy) of Briggs Corner and Jim (Diane) of Golden, BC; daughters, Hazel Turnbull (Hal) of Fredericton, NB, Helen Estey (Roger) of Cumberland Bay and Phyllis MacLean of Cumberland Bay; 12 grand children; 14 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jud was predeceased by 3 half brothers and 3 half sisters. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel (339-5522) 43 Main Street, Chipman, NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. and where Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 with Pastor Mitchell Foley officiating. Interment will take place in Cumberland Bay East Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
