Obituary of Evelyn Mary Betts

It is with great sadness, the family of Evelyn Mary Betts of Minto announce her passing on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Minto, she was the daughter of the late Paul Judson and Mary Elizabeth (McNeill) Powers. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Audrey Bakken (John) of Armstrong, BC and Nancy LeBlanc (Danny) of Minto, NB; her sons, Ricky (Valerie) of Minto, Arthur (Leta) of Kamloops, BC, Gary (Ann) of Gananoque, ON, Randy (Charlotte) of Ripples and Kevin (Sheila) of Minto; grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Irene Smith of Wicklow, NB; brother, William Powers (Jeannine) of Gananoque, ON as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Betts; a daughter, Barbara Jennex; sons, David and George; sisters, Eunice, Nellie and Alice; brothers, Joseph, Ernest, George, John and Paul Jr. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (Minto Community Chapel), 10 King Street, Minto, NB where visitation will take place Thursday evening from 4 … 8pm. And from where funeral services will take place 10:00AM Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Minto Community Chapel. Interment will follow in the United Baptist Cemetery, Minto.
