Obituary of Reginard Bennet Knox

The death of Reginald (Todd) Bennet Knox occurred May 13, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB after a lengthly illness. He was known as a local historian in the village of Chipman and was a major contributor to the Book – Chipman Then and Now. At the time of his retirement he was employed with the Government Garage, Chipman. Survived by sisters; Eunice Knox, Lorraine Stiles (Robert); brothers, Dow (friend Carmella), Sandy (Allegra); sister in law, Evelyn Knox and Myrna Knox.; several nieces and nephews along with several grand nieces and grand nephews; a special cousin, Arthur Knox and his wife Phyllis. Predeceased by his parents John (Jack) and Arvilla Knox; infant sister Marguerite and brothers, James (Jim) and Otis. Resting at Grand Lake Community Chapel (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, May 16, 2009 from the Second United Baptist Church, Chipman with Rev. David Egers officiating. Internment will take place in the United Baptist Cemetery, Chipman. For those who wish donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
