Obituary of Avis Idena Pyne

The death of Avis Idena Pyne of Chipman, NB occurred Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in North Forks, NB she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Emma (Knox) Wheaton. Survived by her son Wayne Pyne of Chipman, NB; A brother, Jack Wheaton (Alice) of Salmon Creek, NB; sisters, Glenna Goodheart (Buddy) and Betty Foss (Murray) both of Salmon Creek, NB, Joyce Sleep (Ronnie) of Minto, NB; a sister in law, Doris McInnis of Chipman, NB; a brother in law, Walter Ackerson of Minto, NB; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Avis was predeceased by her husband Robert Pyne in 1991; daughter, Darlene; sisters, June Jordan, Marilyn Ackerson and Elsie Pontribrand. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from the Second United Baptist Church, Chipman, NB with Rev. David Egers officiating. Internment will take place in the United Baptist Cemetery, Chipman, NB. For those who wish donations made to a living Memorial in memory of Avis would be appreciated by the family.
