Obituary of Alfred Joseph Reed

The death of Alfred Joseph Reed of Chipman, NB occurred Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Alfred and Annie (Jaquart) Reed. Survived by a son Alfred Jr. (Johanne Labelle); daughters, Elizabeth Gleeson (Danny), Veronica Reed (Michel) and Candus Moffat (Wayne); a sister Lena Mohamand (Abdul) of Montreal, QC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alfred was predeceased by his wife Vera (Kapitsky) Reed; a daughter Gloria; a sister, Florence; a brother, Ruben. In keeping with Alfred’s wishes, a private service will take place in Montreal.
