Obituary of Daniel Shane Beck
It is with the deepest sorrow, hurt, sadness, pain and agony that the family of Daniel Shane Beck has to announce his passing, from a car accident in Mariana Lake, AB, on February 18th, 2010.
Daniel was born on April 26th, 1988 in Fredericton, NB, son of Darren Walter Beck (Deborah MacPherson) of Coles Island and Penny Lynn Miller (Robert Wheaton) of Briggs Corner.
He leaves behind to mourn his common-law wife, Chelsea Millar with their daughter, Keeley Abigail Beck of Fort McMurray, AB. His other daughter, Paetyn Louise Lynn Beck of Edmonton, AB. His best friends and sisters, Tara-Lee Beck and her fiancée Shauna Garnett of Saint John. A sister, Monique Beck, step-sister, Danielle D'Entremont; step-brothers, Michael D'Entremont and Dakota Wheaton of Briggs Corner; lifeological brother, Bradley Slocum and his lifeological sister, Katie Slocum. His grandmothers, Annie Beck of Coles Island and Gladys Miller of Moncton. Grandfather and good friend Harry Miller of Oromocto.
Daniel also leaves behind an aunt from Tofield, AB, Brenda Thebeau (Jim); four aunts in New Brunswick – Linda Boone (William), Sharon Driscoll ( Bill), Charlene Beck and Shelley Beck; three aunts in Ontario – Marilyn Johnson (Gary), Beverly Robinson (Dale) and Karen Anderson (Steve); one uncle in BC, Harry Miller (Lorraine); five uncles in New Brunswick - Ron Miller ( Louise), Robert (Bob) Miller (Sandra), Roger Miller, Mike Miller (Charlene) and Corey Miller (Amy); Grammy Bea Miller; one step-aunt, Leann Chater; three step-uncles, Randy Chater, Jeff Chater and Darcy Chater. Numerous cousins throughout Canada. Sisters by choice, Meg-Pie McInnis, Jennifer Carpenter, Tara Vienneau, and Tiffany Wasson. With so many numerous sisters and brothers by choice, we don’t want to forget anyone but there are so many. Know that you are with us.
Daniel was predeceased by his friend and grandfather, Walter Beck; his uncle, David Miller and his friend and cousin Matthew Miller.
Daniel was the Best Son, Best Brother and Best Friend
for his Mom and Robert, his Dad and Deb,
his Sisters, Brothers and for Chelsea and Keeley.
He will be forever loved and desperately missed.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Grand Lake Community Chapel, 43 Main Street Chipman, NB (339-5522) where visitation will be held Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM and from where Daniel’s life will be celebrated 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26th, 2010 with Scott Hoyt officiating.
