Obituary of Gordon Goldwyn Hopkins

It is with deepest sorrow and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Goldwyn Hopkins at his home at Southampton House at the age of 51. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of Edna (Parker) Hopkins and Goldwyn Hopkins. Gordon is survived by his loving mother Edna; brother, Roger (Kathy); 2 sisters, Tammy (Tommy) McTiernan and Audrey (Allan) Morrell also by 2 nephews Gregory and Mitchel; 3 nieces, Amanda, Cortney and Becky; chosen family at Southampton house and his fuzzy friend Jeff (Rabbit). Gordon is predeceased by his father Goldwyn Hopkins in 2007; a son Jason Hopkins in 2008; maternal grandparents, Leon and Ella Parker; paternal grandparents, Carl and Beatrice Hopkins. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel (43 Main St. Chipman, NB 339-5522) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 and from where Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, April 6, 2010 with Pastor Kris Austin officiating. Interment will take place in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date.
