Obituary of Angus Matthew Knox

The death of Angus Matthew Knox of Chipman, NB occurred Saturday, October 23rd, 2010, at the Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born Minto, NB he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Carr) Knox. Angus is survived my his daughter, Janet Barton (Donnie) of Minto; his son, Derek Knox (Nancy) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Derek Barton of Minto, Roxanne Barton (Peter) of Lincoln and his great grandson, Jackson; a sister, Etta Fraser of Chipman; a brother, Charles Knox (Shirley) of Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and many close friends in Ontario and in Chipman. He was predeceased by his wife, Mabel (Smith) Knox; four brothers, Francis, Melvin, Alexander and Eugene. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel, 43 Main Street, Chipman (339-5522) with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm and from where funeral services will take place 2:00 PM, Monday, October 25th, 2010 with Pastor Dennis Sisco officiating. Interment will follow in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman. For those who wish, donations made to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
