Obituary of Murray "Jack" Cusack
Murray “Jack” Cusack, son of Rena and Murray Cusack, born Dec 7, 1923, died Friday January 25th, 2013 after a brief illness at the Dr. Everett Chalmers hospital. Jack was a member of the Royal Canadian Airforce during the second world war. After the war he worked for CNR until his retirement. He never lost his love for trains and railroads. Jack was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed canoeing, seadoing, four wheeling and snowmobiling. He made his last trip on his ski-doo with his good friend, Archie Darrah the week before he entered the hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rubena (McLellan/Perry), a step-son Darrell McLellan (Kathy), grand children Keri Coulson (Paul), Ian McLellan (Shianne) and Ashley McLellan (Natalie Oullette). He was a beloved Great grandfather to Paige, Caleb, Genevieve, Liam, Abby, Riley and Nate.
He was predeceased by his first wife Helen (Darrah), and his only sibling Dick Cusack.
Visitation will be held at Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman) Saturday, January 26th, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at the Christian Life Centre, Rev Darrell McLellan will be officiating assisted by Rev Patrick Halferty and Rev Dennis Sisco. A reception at the church is to follow.
