Obituary of G. Ruth McAllister

The death of G. Ruth McAllister (Fulton) of Gaspereau Forks, NB and Portage La Prairie, MB occurred Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at District General Hospital in Portage La Prairie, MB. Born in Rothwell, NB she was the daughter of the late R. Vernon and Laura (Poppy) (Stilwell) Demmings. Survived by 2nd husband Murray McAllister; sons, Zane (Tammy), Vance Fulton; Daughters, Debbie Gardiner and Kim Flanagan (Don); 11 grandchildren, Cristin, Christie, Stephanie, Melissa, Heather, Kyle, Megan, Aaron, Tim, Ryan and Laura; 1 great grandson, Julian; sisters, Judy Chittick (Tom) and Marylyn Miller; sister in law, Joan Demmings; step children, Julie Cairns (Garnet), Lloyd McAllister (Lorraine), Barry and Stephen; many nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her 1st husband of 54 years Gerald Wesley Fulton in 2008; an infant son, Royce in 1975; step mother, Verda (Higgins) Demmings and brother, Wayne Demmings. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, April 17th, 2013 from the Fundamental Baptist Church in Chipman, NB. Interment will take place in Redbank United Church Cemetery.
