Obituary of Murray Roy Bishop

The death of Murray Roy Bishop of Chipman, NB occurred Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born on the Stevenson Road, Chipman, NB he was the son of the late Roy Elmer and Vera Muriel (Murray) Bishop. Survived by his wife Zelda (Polk) Bishop; 5 sons, Jon Bishop of Ottawa, Laurie (Ruth) of Fredericton, Barry (Christine) of Chipman, Dale (Ellen) of Noonan, Randy (Eleanor) of Fredericton; 2 daughters, Nicola Bishop of Moncton, NB and Susan Weaver (Peter) of Cumberland Bay, NB; step-son, Christian Mclean (Brittany) of Fredericton; brothers, Garnet (Nancy) and Hugh John (Linda); sisters, Ida Fairweather (Fred) and Dayna Fearn (Gomer) all of Chipman; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Murray was predeceased by his 2nd wife Anne L. Bishop in 2008. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Monday, May 27th, 2013 from the Christian Life Center, Chipman, NB. Interment will take place in the Redbank United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
