I will never forget Sandra Wright. She was like an Extended Sister to me, and my Soster Emma, and like an Aunt to Emma's daughters Terry & Janie and her son Kevin. Sandra loved to come for sleep overs and watch a good Romance comedy movie and eat toasted hotdogs with just onions and mustard only, lol, or a macaroni Goulash.. She loved our trips to Omega for breakfasts Or Fish & chips with gravy. She loved my mothers and Emma's biscuits. She Always said they were just heavenly. When I last seen her, she said how she missed everyone in Minto and talked about how she wished that she could walk through her homestead, just one more time. I beleive now she has seen it more than once, from beyond the other side. Rest in peace my dear friend, I will cherish All our memories right up till the last haircut I gave you in the hospital and your Christmas treat. Your Happy in your Resl home at last with your Mama and Daddy again and friends like Brenda Swift, Pauline Fasquel & Jenny Cormier, and Emma West. R.I.P. dear Ssndra Never Forgotten Joselyn & Jolene & McNeill Fsmily. Play that Pisno hard up there hon.

We were so sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. I got to visit with her a few times in the Oromocto hospital . She was a great friend of my mother Beulah and my Aunt Jo and all the Northrup family. RIP sweet girl. Wendy Northrup

Condolences to Sandra's family. We attended MMHS Home Economics together where we became good friends. I was in the United Church choir where Sandra played the organ every Sunday for quite a few years. I will miss seeing her around. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I also knew Sandra from our high school days. And we kept in close contact for years after that. On my first trip to Montreal, she acquired tickets for us to see Petula Clark. I remember going to meet her at the Music School, L'école de musique Vincent-d'Indy. I found it a formidable place, guarded by Nuns. Sandra also gave me my first Leonard Cohen album - an artist I cherish to this day. I still have dreams about Sandra's Newcastle Bridge house. ~ Dale Estey

In fond memory of you, dear Sandra and the summertime visits with you and your mom in your sunroom/veranda. Your century old solid upright piano served my brother and I well, for the years we took piano lessons. Thankfully our dear friend George took great delight in keeping it tuned. You were music to us and to many!

In remembrance of my dear teacher Sandra Wright. Sandra was my first of many piano and violin teachers - because of her I was prepared under her instruction to follow in her footsteps and study at the Ecole de Musique Vincent-d'Indy in Montreal where she graduated with a degree in piano performance. She performed Dmitri Kabalevsky's virtuoso Piano Concerto no 3, written the year she was born 1948, as soloist with the orchestra when she graduated over 50 years ago. She and I performed this work at the Trinity Church one day - I still have her copy of the sheet music. She then went on to graduate from McGill with a Master's in Music - her thesis was on Contemporary Quebec Composers. I am only who I am today, a musician, because of Sandra - it was an accident of luck that I even started taking lessons and I will always cherish Sandra's memory until my last day. I often visit our old music school - I am going to place a flower in her memory at her alma mater Ecole Vincent-d'Indy.
