Obituary of Jeanne Y. Doucette
The death of Jeanne Y. Doucette of Minto, NB occurred Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born in Rimouski, QC she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeanne (Caron) Lavoie.
Jeanne was a proud grandmother to 4 times her 5th generation in her family tree.
Survived by a daughter, Andrea Doucette; a son, Claude Doucette; daughter-in-law, Gloria Doucette; sister-in-law, Sophie Richard; grandchildren, Angela McNeill, Shawn McNeill, Lisa Campbell (Jamie), Trina McNeill (Danny), Michael Doucette (Stacey), Denise Doucette (John), Marcel Doucette, Anita Doucette (Jason), Tim Pitre (Terran), Melanie Doucette (Nicole) and Nicole Bailey (Jerry); 20 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Doucette; sons, Leo and Alfred Doucette; a daughter, Anna Pitre; son-in-law, Angus Pitre.
A private family funeral mass will be held. Friends are invited to Interment 12:00 noon Friday, June 25th, 2021 in Saint Bridget’s Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to a living memorial in memory of Jeanne would be greatly appreciated by the family.
