Born In: Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Born: March 28th, 1945 Passed in: Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Passed on: July 30th, 2016 It is with great sadness that the family of Earl Tait, of Maquapit Lake, N.B., announces his peaceful passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 30, 2016, in his 71st year, after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. Husband of Jackie Tait (nee Evans). Dear father of Steven (Vicky) of Finch, Ontario, and Michelle (Bryan Eburne) of Ottawa, Ontario. Brother of Jeanne Tait, and Bob (Cheryl) Tait, all of Fredericton. Beloved and very proud Grampy to Carter and Camden (Cami) Tait, and Megan and Nathan (Nate) Eburne. Predeceased by parents Malcolm (Mac) and Lillian Tait (nee Malenfant). Brother-in-law to Sheridan Evans, Fredericton; Valerie Helmer (Wayne), Ottawa, Ontario; and Marilyn Evans-Born (Jeffrey), Fredericton. Uncle to Rob Tait and Cathy (Steven Wood) all of Noonan. Earl’s absolute favourite place to be was anywhere his grandchildren were, or his own beloved “paradise”, Maquapit Lake where he was at peace gardening and birdwatching. At his request, no service will be held. The family wishes to thank all the medical professionals who assisted Earl at various stages of his illness, particularly the St. John Regional Hospital, the DECH Oncology Unit and Fourth Floor South East, as well as the NB Extramural Program. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Fredericton SPCA, would be greatly appreciated.
