Obituary of Alden Darrah Simmons

The death of Alden Darrah Simmons of Maquapit Lake, NB occurred Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Chalmer’s Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of Jessica M. (Crawford) Simmons and the late James M. Simmons. Past inductee of the Minto Music Wall of Fame. In addition to his mother, Alden is survived by sons, Jason and Jamie; a daughter, Jessica; a brother, Eric Simmons; sisters, Donna Cawley (Jerry) and Patricia Wright (Darrell); great friends, Lorraine (Dale) Krall; 2 grandchildren, Marcie Jay Fraser and Jacob Alden Fraser; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will take place 2:00PM Friday, September 9, 2016 from the Lakeville Corner Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Byno Cemetery, Lakeville Corner, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
