Obituary of Doreen Alice Davenport

The passing of Doreen Alice Davenport occurred on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the age of 85. Doreen is survived by her loving husband Grayden, daughter Iris Miller (Holly), sons Earl Fawcett (Barb), Lloyd Tremblay (Terri-Lynn) and Jack Tremblay. Step children, Owen Davenport, Victoria Taylor (Winston) and Cheryl Taylor (Rick). Grandchildren Shauna & Mike Miller, Nick, Donnie and Curtis Tremblay. Survived by her sister Marguerite Glenn-Barton, sister-in-law Jean Betts and sister-in-law Eileen Meyer, brother-in-law Bob Gormley, and Nick and Donnie’s mother Marlene, whom she loved like a daughter. Born in Minto, NB, Nanny (as she was known to all) was predeceased by her parents, Vernon and Grace (Watson) Betts and her siblings Ralph, Curtis, Don (twin brother), Caroline and Merton. Nanny was loved by her many nieces and nephews and she will be missed dearly. Nanny loved to cook and no family occasion was complete without “Nanny’s rolls”. Nanny’s sense of humour was with her until the very end, and she leaves all of us with great memories. We will miss you Nanny. Nanny was a long-time member of the United Baptist Church in Minto (124 Pleasant Drive, Minto, NB, E4B 2T6) where visitation will be held on Friday, October 28th, 2016 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. The service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, October 29th, 2016 in the United Baptist Church of Minto. The family would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the United Baptist Church in Minto
