We are Totally lost for words, and So Sorry for your loss, of such a wonderful Mother, grandmother, Sister, and Cousin to Us. Although she was a cousin, she always felt like so much more than that to us. She started entertaining us at 5 years old, when we would all jump in Dads old 56 chev and head oug to Joe & Stella's, and First thing we would do is head for the room for Toupie to play piano for us, and then go outside, and Elvina & Helen, Ronnie would be building beautiful snow forts outside. Toupie & I started a song, just this past fall. I'm lookin forward to finishing that song for her, in her memory, and hoping to have it played, at Minto's next Country Music Wall if Fame. Our hearts ache for you All. Especially, Stella, Brandy, Melissa, Alvina, Helen, Ronnie, Joanne & Families. Keeping You All in Prayer.Love you All & God Bless XXXX hugs

One of my first childhood friends, RIP Alice (Toupie), my deepest and heartfelt condolences to her family. She would amaze me by being able to play the piano by ear. I would ask her, "How do you know how to play the piano?" Her reply "By Ear". That was the beginning for her talent. I moved away in grade 2 so we lost touch, but reconnected on FB, I got to hear her beautiful voice, playing the guitar and drums from videos she posted on FB.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Alice. I was shocked and saddened to read this notice. I have known Alice most of her life, being from the same area, attending the same schools, and popping into one another at different Minto locations. Alice was one of the few people that actually was "what you see, is what you get." She was small but mighty and never judged. I remember asking her once where she was hiding that "fountain of youth" because she never changed over the years. She certainly will light up heaven with her smile, her beautiful voice and her loving and giving ways.

I got to know Toupie, on a personal note when she came to work at the Community Resource Centre. I called her Alice she said "Toupie" plain and simple My first impression of her was this lovely girl in a peasant blouse who reminded me of a gypsy fairy Her humour and casual way won everyone over. I feel honored to have known her nothing frazzled her. One of a kind so unique she was ions ahead of us. I will remember her fondly the way she wanted. Toupie rest easy. My condolences to the family. Sending my heartfelt condolences. "Toupie" was a special cousin and a childhood friend. I remember us playing in a tree stand with dolls and also playing "dress-up".
