Uncle Fenton was a one-off; every time we visited from England he and his lovely family always welcomed us and made our visits special - thanks to him we canoed down a river, fished in a lake, went 4-tracking in the woods, attended a corn boil with Uncle Dick, and cooked the biggest steaks we'd ever seen on the BBQ! Just some of the fantastic memories of a wonderful man who loved his family and his country. We shall always remember him with love and fondness, "eh!",
and particularly his love of all things with an engine and his crafty use of the TV remote! Sadly gone but most certainly never forgotten. RIP lovely man xx

Who doesn’t feel the honor to have known Fenton Doak?
He will forever be apart of his extraordinary wife Patsy, daughters Cindy, Pam and her boys life
His siblings which includes my Poppadewboo, lost a indelible brother, father figure and the truest friend
Rickey Doak and I watched all our lives and marveled at the strong bond between dad and Fent.
One day not too long ago I asked Fent if he could tell dad not to be so stubborn and except some help! He said to me “Tina, you don’t TELL Dick anything”.
He was right I realized half of my battle my whole life. And ya know what. I hate being told what to do too..So thank you for that simple but life changing insight
Boy I will miss you. You were a FINE man
Of the highest quality I admired your honesty and intellect
Your stories and wise experiences in life, they will never fade from my memory.
May the good Lord rest your soul my dear uncle
Love your niece Tina, George and Niko

It is with a heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to Cindy, Patsy, Pam and to the family. Fenton was one of a kind. A gentle caring man. Always kind and generous with his time for others. A great example of a beautiful soul. He had many stories to tell and plenty of love to give. He could fill up a room with stories and laughter and teach us all a lesson or two on how to make the world a better place if you just showed kindness. Without knowing, he made a difference in a lot of people’s lives. His growing love for people took a lot of space in the heart of anyone who knew him. He touched them all and will be missed by us all.
