I am saddened to hear of Stella's passing. She was a caring and loving individual, always thinking of others. My mother, Ruth Welton enjoyed chatting with Stella when they would meet up at Shopper's or Foodland and talked about the "good old days". She is now at peace and able to see her beloved daughter once again. So sorry for your loss. Rona Welton Erickson

Dear Helen, Mel and family, It saddens me to hear of your mother/grandmother's passing. I know how special she was to you. I only met Stella a few times but she left an impression on me. She seemed like such a down to earth person who genuinely cared about people and animals. I could sense that she had a deep faith and was just a really solid person that you could depend on. Helen, Ang, Melanie and families, I remember meeting Nanny Stella for the very first time and I was so nervous to go there not knowing how I would be treated. I never met a more welcoming woman in my life. She was so sweet and kind and the stories..... were amazing. All she wanted to do was feed me and I was so full. She did an amazing job raising all you "Powers" women and Ronnie you too!. She was a special woman and it will be hard to let her go. The stories you all have to carry on in you memories and in your hearts will live on for a very long time. Peace, Love and Light to you all. Love you. Hugs
